A Geoffrey Wade Financial Services LLC
After working for three major Wire house's - PaineWebber, Morgan Stanley & Raymond James in the industry and having them dictate to me the types of financial products that They felt were best for my clients, the move to become truly independent in 2007 was like a breath of fresh air, which we have a lot of here in Florida.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser whose company name is A. Geoffrey Wade Financial Services, LLC. I am primarily a Registered Representative and an Investment Adviser Representative with American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. and American Portfolios Advisors, Inc. however I am also licensed to provide additional insurance products and AARP Medicare insurance products though United Healthcare.
American Portfolios is an independent Broker Dealer that was formed by a group of brokers for the sole purpose of providing to their clients the financial products and services that they need and at a reasonable price. There are plenty of choices of services to choose from and there are no Proprietary products. The choice of investments is entirely up to the client and Financial Adviser. At the same time American Portfolios is providing the guidance to continually keep up with all of the new rules and compliance regulations from FINRA.
I have an additional network of Insurance Brokers which provide me with the additional insurance products not available through American Portfolios - Life, Fixed & Indexed Annuities, Long Term Care, and Disability. I am able to chose from multiple companies so I am able to shop for the best rates and terms for my clients.
I am a licensed insurance agent with United Healthcare and I am authorized to offer AARP Medicare Insurance policies - Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements and Prescription Drug Coverage.
I have been an adviser in the Financial Services and Banking industry for over 30 years all here on the Treasure Coast. I have experienced all of the ups and downs of the markets over several cycles dating back to the mid 1980's. I have learned over that span of time that in order to meet the client's expectations you have to listen to what their ultimate goals are and what their needs will be while we are working to achieve those goals.
When I first started my banking career, I learned that it was Customer Service and the client relationship that determined the success of the account not the products. All banks and broker dealers have essentially the same products available to the client. It is my goal to provide to my customers the best service possible and be able to adapt to the changing market conditions and needs of the client.
I have lived on the Treasure Coast since 1984 with my wife Nancy and various cats. My children (2 daughters) and grandchildren (1 girl & 3 boys) live in Palm Beach County so we are able to participate in family outings and holidays.
Nancy and I are both active members of the St. Lucie West Lions Club and the many projects and services that our club does in the local community. I'm also on the Board of Directors of the Florida Lions Foundations for the Blind, Inc. and the Florida Lions Eye Bank which provide Surgical Procedures for those in need who qualify with low income and no insurance. When I'm not working, you will find me out in the community in my Lion's vest doing diabetes screenings or ringing the bells for the Salvation Army.
I also like to enjoy the leisure activities offered by the area so you may find me walking on the beach or playing golf on one of our local courses.
I enjoy my work and the experience of interacting with my clients. I have no intention to retire at any time soon so I would welcome working with new clients to help them achieve success.
